Back Pain

If you have experienced back pain you will know how debilitating, restrictive and uncomfortable it can be. When your body misbehaves it can stop you in your tracks and leave you physically unable to move or it can be a constant irritating pain, a thorn in your side that demands your total attention. To say it is stressful is an understatement, the mind just can’t seem to focus on anything else. Finding ways that work for you, to give you respite, relaxation and ultimately recovery is a search that many of us have had to make at some point in our lives to resolve this all to common condition.

Transformation and Performance

Recently we had the pleasure of meeting the team at The In Oxford Group. As part of our programme we offered them the chance to experience a short Pranic treatment. Pranic healing is a fast growing non touch complementary therapy for physical, emotional and mental health. It is currently used in over 126 countries worldwide and is a key part of the self development techniques we take into the workplace.

Pranic Therapy

The treatments are designed to soothe pain, rapidly reduce stress to help leave you feeling lighter, calmer and with more focus. Lorna Waterfield, Operations Manager at The In Oxford Group told us that she had been experiencing back pain, Lorna was cynical at the start of her session as to the effectiveness but things soon changed.

Water cooler chats. Let's talk physical, emotional and mental health.

Any back pain, tightness in your shoulders or bit of a stiff neck? Are you a headache sufferer? Do you constantly feel stressed, overwhelmed and anxious?

Be honest, what did you say the last time someone in the office asked "How are you? "

Did you say "I'm fine"

Sound familiar?

You would not be the only one chatting at the office water cooler, putting on a smile, pretending everything was great. Why can't we be honest, why can't we say, "well actually I ache from head to toe, I am not sleeping well and my head is all over the place"

Not wanting to let the team down, fear of failure and not being kind to ourselves all adds to the Oscar winning performances we put on everyday at work to cover up how we are really feeling.

Relax! The truth is out. It's time for some clear thinking.

Here's the situation.

Your Employer needs you to be physically, emotionally and mentally on top of your game, firing on all cylinders solving problems, efficient and productive, BUT to be productive and performing to the best of your ability you need to feel relaxed. We are not talking Barbados relaxed where you don't have the inclination to lift a finger, we mean the calm sleeping lion relaxed, alert and  ready to jump into action at the blink of an eye. Good health, physically, emotionally and mentally with a state of ready to go relaxed will  give you the mental clarity and focus needed to better  manage workloads and achieve targets and goals quickly. Your success through personal transformation can be very empowering.

Pranic Therapy helped me be more relaxed, focus on my presentation, whilst still maintaining the right amount of energy. A very gratifying experience.
